Perfect for all horses that obtain all the calories they need from forage but either deserve a feed or need a palatable low calorie carrier for supplements. It is cereal-grain-free, low in sugar and starch and therefore, ‘Non-Heating’.

Soaks quickly in 5 minutes to make an irresistible mash. The more water added to the dry mash to make it up, the lower calorie the ‘as-fed’ mash will be. Great for hydration and those who have difficulty chewing.

TopSpec nutritionists recommend adding 2 parts water to 1 part dry mash to result in a wet mash supplying 3.5MJ/kg.

Designed to be fed with any TopSpec feed balancer or TopSpec All-in-One multi-supplement as it does not contain any added vitamins or trace-elements. Salt, magnesium oxide and limestone are added to the blend to provide optimum levels of sodium, magnesium, and calcium, thus overcoming the major problems associated with the use of straights.
